Yesterday, I told you on Facebook that I was making a delicious pumpkin jam, well today I leave the recipe because sincerely if you like pumpkins in the thousand ways that you can cook them, you will like the jam.

I devoured it!!!The first time that I found out this delight was in my sister-in-law's fridge and YES, I left the jar empty. I came at home with my belly full and soon I had the recipe in my power!!!

I have to tell you that not all pumpkins are good to make jam!! You have to use the orange pumpkin!!!The same that you use in Halloween. If you use this the jam will be perfect!

Ingredientes / Ingredients:
  • Calabaza / Pumpkin
  • Azúcar (un poco menos de la mitad del peso de la cabaza que uséis en azúcar) / Sugar ( the quantity of sugar will be a little bit less the weight of pumpkin that you use)
  • Piel de naranja / Orange rind
  • 1 ramita de canela / 1 of stick cinnamon
  • 3 clavos / 3 cloves
  • Al rededor de 200ml de agua o agua de flor de naranjo / Around 200ml of water or orange flower water

Preparación / How to make it:
Peel the pumpkin, wash it and cut it in small pieces.
In a casserole put the water, sugar, orange rind, cinnamon and cloves and mix everything well.
  • Cocinarlo a medio fuego / Cook it on a medium flame.
Revolver continuamente. / When you  have the sugar dissolved, put the pumpkin and cook until it goes soft and it breaks up.
You can beat it with a whisk to be softer, like a cream.
  • Puedes añadirle uvas pasas, nueves, piñones!!! / You can add raisins, walnuts, pinenuts!!!.

You can conserve the jars during a lot of time if you heat in a double boiler, so when you want pumpkin jam you will have!

Galletas Caterpillar / Caterpillar's cookies

¡¡¡GALLETAS ESPECIALES!!!

SPECIAL COOKIES!!!

Firstly, a lot of people have often been asked for the butter cookies' recipe and today I'm going to write it. (Above in the first picture you can see the ingredients you need)

How to make it:

  • Whisk the butter (it will be at Tºamb) until you obtain a creamy apperance.
  • Add sugar and beat.
  • Add egg, salt and aroma. Whisk until it will be very good mixed, we will obtain an apperance like a sour cream.
  • Add flour and mix everything. Sprinkle the table with flour and knead until the pastry will be easy to use. While the pastry is sticky, Take care! this is because it is asking a little more of flour. We have to get it doesn't stick in our hands.
  • Stretch the pastry ( I always use an oven paper to not stick in our rolling pin). The pastry has to have 1cm of thickness more less. The easier is to use a rolling pin with levels.
  • Cold it into the fridge during 2h. Do you ask why? Because when you are going to cut them with the cutters, they keep the shape.
  • After that time, cut with the cutters. Put them in a pan and bake at 180ºC during 10min. This time depends of the thickness of the cookies so when you see that the corners of the cookies are brown, take out them and keep in a rack. With his heat, they are still baking a little more. Don't keep the cookies into the oven more time if not they will be like stones.
  • When they are cold or at Tºamb, keep them in a metalic box, if you don't have you can use a plastic container but it should be very good closed.
  • If you want to decorate the cookies, you don't make it the same day. Let the cookies stand until next day at least.

IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO MAKE EVERYTHING THE SAME DAY, THE BEST IS WAIT AND BE PATIENCE!!

They look delicious, not?? I have to say that I couldn't resist and I tried one, and well, also my couple, mum and dad hehehe....Sincerely they have the same taste that the England's cookies ("Walkers"). Yessss...I was so happy because I had achieved!!!

I kept them in the metalic box that my mum made me (she loves the handicrafts!! and  I like she likes it hehehe) I decided to decorate them and give them...Thought a cause and say:

"Weeding & Caterpillar"

As my boyfriend has to take something to Caterpillar to share with his colleagues and say the new about our next wedding, (Yes, I don't know if I told you it before but I will get married in 2013!!!  :):) ) I decorated them for his company and this was the result.  (See pictures above)

What did you think? Funny?...Well we will have to wait to know what CAT thinks...I let you know....

Diferentes consistencias en nuestro icing / Different consisteince in our icing

This time, La Pancha Siempre Llena doesn't write the post in english because Sweet Sugar Belle explains it wonderful in her blog.

Elmo y Triki Cupcakes / Elmo and Triki Cupcakes

Porrrr finnnnn!!!!
Finally!!

Forgive the shouting! But I finally had a reason to make them, I had long wanted to make "Elmo and Triki's cupcakes" and I'm really happy with the result.
I am not going to write he recipe because in this case I repeat the cupcakes' taste so .. Well a little trick, I put a ounce of chocolate inside of Elmo and when you bite it there was the chocolate! muuuuuumm

Venga y vean...
Come and see...  (Look photos)

See you tomorrow!!!

Today, I can’t write about anything sweet and it is not because I don’t have things to show you, you do!!! I have several and very beautiful (this is to motivate to continue reading the blog next days because I know I will not disappoint you).

Today I want to write about a photo editor that in a word I can tell how it is, FANTASTIC, I write it in capital letter because it deserves.

Today is not the first time that I hear about him, but lazy of me, I never got to look into him and don’t ask me why, because I can't explain yet because I love all this kind of programs!!!

The thing is, today, well, tomorrow because it is later, I was going to write a sweet and funny post, but I wanted to be more original with my photos. That was when I remembered to PicMonkey  and I didn’t think more. I went and I tried the new format for the photos that I will write in next post…
Incredible result, I loved it so I only want to say that since today PicMonkey goes into in Happy Belly 2012’s life.

I know that a lot of you knew, used  and liked it. Now I join with you to use it.

A greeting for every readers and sorry for not write more but PicMonkey calls me...

Yogur casero / Home-made yogurt

¡¡¡Me encantan los yogures desde que nací!!!
I love the yogurt since I was born!!!

Today I leave the easiest recipe to double our delicious yogurts by home-made. You will need a yogurt maker. I have one from lidl.
This supermarket how you know, each week offer things very useful and with a incredible prices. My yogurt maker only cost around 15€ if I don't remember bad and it works very well.

First to say to you that when you finish your yogurts you can add whatever you want into of them, so we won't have to eat the flavor that it doesn't like us. In this case I added jam.

Ingredientes para 7 yogures / Ingredients for 7 yogurts:
  • 1 yogur natural / 1 natural yogurt
  • 1litro de leche / 1litro of milk
  • Mermelada (sabor a elegir), yo use de fresa / Jam (flavor to chose), I used strawberry
Preparación / How to make them:
No deben quedar grumos. / Mix in a bowl the natural yogurt with the milk. Mix very well because It shouldn't have lumps..
Add the jam in bottom of each jar. The quantity will depend of you want to put. (with 1 or 2 tea spoon it is enough).
  • Repartir la mezcla anterior entre los 7 tarros. / Share out the mixture among the 7 jars.
  • Poner los tarros destapados en la yogurtera. / Put the jars closed in the yogurt maker.
  • Tapar la yogurtera y dejarlos fermentar durante 10h. /Cover the yogurt maker and leave them for 10 hours to ferment.
When the time spend, cover with their lids and preserve them into the fridge.

Usually, it can be left something of the mix  if you put jam. You can solve this if you use less quantity of milk.

I want to tell you that I have tried to make flavor yogurts and the result it is the same, but the flavor that it is predominant is natural because the quantity of flavor yogurt that you put in each yogurt that you make it is very little, so the best it is to use jam to give them the flavor that you want.

To end I have added some bars of chocolate that I have made using melted chocolate, pastry bag and ice cubes...The trick is very easy. You have to put the ice cubes in a bowl and what you have to do is draw chocolate's lines on them. The cold will do the chocolate will get hard and you can use it to decorate.

¿Visteis?
Did you see? they are delicious....Now, everynight I eat one of them and it is a pleasure.

Llego el invierno / Winter came

¡¡¡Hola!!!
Hi!!!

My goodness, how long have I not show up here... But, after a lot of time in different cities, at last we are living in Switzerland. Moving and internet connection have taken more than we would have liked... Anyway, La Pancha Siempre Llena comes back to show you, the things that she has been making these days.

We started with this cake decorated with a cute snowman. The reason was that in Switzerland the cold and snow has arrived. A week ago I was sightseeing in Gruyères and the snow that fell was considered to be the end of October ... So next Sunday as there was no desire to go anywhere I wanted to try my new oven and see what came out of there. The fact that the result for my taste was quite nice and had delicious flavor.

I recommend that when you make a cake, you make it with chocolate and you put walnut and melted chocolate in the middle...When it is cold, this with a hot coffee is delicious!!!

Saludos a tod@s!!!
Greeting to everyone!!!
